Positive: Beautiful house and amazing host who was always available to help us. We enjoyed trying the restaurant recommendations in the local town. Amazing views of the sea and mountains from the roof and bedrooms. The photos really don't do it justice.

Negative: There wasn't a dishwasher which really isn't the end of the world. Having said that there was a washer and dryer and it was great being able to clean towels and swimwear easily.

Positive: Very nice little house in a great village. Nice view from the terrasse a few meters away. Fresh bread and eggs every morning. Ana is a wonderful host.

Negative: The terrasse is up a few meters and not really convenient for meals, just drinks. Also note that you need a car to go to restaurants and supermarket, which is anyhow true almost everywhere on the island.

Summary: A nice little house for a few days discovering the south east part of Sao Miguel

Positive: The surroundings and the view from the rooftop are astonishing. The house is not in a very touristic area so you can see and feel how locals live on the island. It is super quiet and peaceful. The apartment has everything from washing machine to a beach umbrella. Driving to and from the house requires some experience but at least its not boring :⁠-⁠) Narrow, steep roads surrounded by flowers and amazing scenery and authentic villages. An experience on its own :⁠-⁠)

Negative: Nada. Everything was perfect.
