Welcome to the Pines at Orehouse Plaza. This condo is a great option for your getaway to Steamboat. Located on the second floor, this is a comfortable and spacious two bedroom, 2-bathroom rental. Immediately upon entry you are welcomed with a great "mudroom" space featuring a custom barn wood bench area with tons of cubbies and hooks for all your winter gear plus a large closet for all your equipment. Feel at home in the living room with gas fireplace and plenty of seating for everyone. The open kitchen area has everything you need to prepare your own meals in style or to grub on your takeout. Enjoy a meal or play a game around the spacious dining table or head out to the large, covered balcony to enjoy the mountain air or grill up a burger.
Back the hallway you will find a master bedroom with King bed, large closet to keep your luggage tucked away and private balcony. The attached bathroom features a brand-new walk-in shower with bench and river rock accents and large vanity with plenty of room for everyone's toiletries. The second bedroom is perfect for the kids or a couple of friends with a Queen bed and a twin over twin bunk (sleeps 4) and still plenty of floor space. This bedroom utilizes the second bathroom located in the hallway which contains another walk-in shower and large vanity. Pack light and take advantage of the full-size washer and dryer located in the hall closet. This condo also has free Wi-Fi and keyless entry. There are 2 parking spaces available for the condo.
The Pines at the Orehouse is conveniently located within walking distance to 2 grocery stores (City Market & Safeway), 2 ski shops (Ski Haus & Christy Sports), Walmart, shopping, and many dining options including the Ore House. There is a free city bus stop located at the entrance to the complex which can zip you up to the base of the ski area or walk across the street and catch the bus going downtown (it runs into the late night). As our guest you have access to the community hot tubs just a short walk from the condo. Enjoy more "bang for your buck" when it comes to space and comfort without paying base area pricing and still have convenient amenities nearby. This is a great option for those wanting to enjoy a wonderful Steamboat getaway without breaking the bank.

Summary: Our family enjoyed our stay. Location is close to everything. We had fun with the board games, some we never played before. Kitchen is perfect and has everything we needed. The layout is great for families and having two bathrooms was convenient. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Summary: Perfect place for our family of 4 adults in ski trip Steamboat5 minutes walk to the free shuttle stop. We did not drive , shuttle take 5 min to the lift or to the downtown . Groceries, restorant, ski shop , all you need walking distance. Propertie perfect for our group

Summary: Condo was as advertised - quiet and spacious. Bed and furnishings were comfortable. Some small inconveniences, but overall excellent property. Management company was responsive when the dishwasher didn't work, and had someone on site the same day. Missed having a chair or stool in the primary bedroom to assist with dressing. Needed more clothes hangers, since we stayed for 8 nights and had some "events" to attend. We will be happy to stay here again.

Summary: We stayed 2 weeks to extend our ski vacation and this property was great. Close to the bus stop and they secured us a great locker for all our gear and located in the gondola area.

Summary: Our stay was great, kitchen was awesome, well stocked, a one day coffee provision would be appreciated but supermarket is 5 min away. showers great, near shared hot tub, stairs clear of snow, and nice fireplace. A lovely way to start and end the day after skiing

Summary: Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Condo is outstanding - new, nice, clean, very well appointed. Nice & new beds, mattresses, sheets, towels, big comfy couches in living room, large dining table, new bathrooms. Easy to use big TVs. Great communication with small and local rental company. (I’ve had frustrating experiences with the big rental management companies if there is an issue - texting with useless bots.) Helpful and easy to follow instructions and tips. Super easy check in via phone. If you go to ski - rent the lockers!!! - so so so worth it! Tram stops in front of property. . Snowed our entire stay - property was plowed as needed in the AM before we left for slopes. Wish we lived closer so we could stay here more often.

Summary: This condo was great, well equipped, and just as described. Bus was very convenient to the mountain. Walk for kids in ski boots to the bus stop was a bit long (they are little) but we worked around it easily. Would stay here again! Only recommendation is a new mattress for primary bedroom.
