Positive: The unit has a great view of the golf course (open field and pine trees), it's pretty close by car to the Village and Eagle Lodge to start the day skiing or to get the to Village to walk around and the neighborhood is fun to walk around in the evening and check out the cabins. There is a outdoor jacuzzi that's not far to get to from the unit (5 min. walk). The bed looks small in the pictures but I'm 6'4 and fit just fine. The couch pull-out bed has an awesome mattress -- perfect for chilling out by the TV, windows and pellet stove in the living room. You'll come to love the pellet stove which is an alternative to a traditional fire place -- it worked great and threw off plenty of warm light and flame, and heats the place amazingly. The owner and rep. assisting her with the rental were available to take our questions by phone and very friendly.

Negative: Someone was above our unit and made some disturbing noise by running a loud vacuum or carpet cleaner in the morning and then early evening one day -- hard to tell what the machine was making the noise -- and you could hear them walking at times, but most of the time the upstairs neighbors were perfectly quiet and we were not bothered. Overall it's a solid condo in Mammoth and we'd go back to it.
