This is a quiet, respectful property shared with your hosts, who live in the main house adjacent to the cottage. We warmly welcome travelers, visiting parents, professionals, and outdoor enthusiasts seeking a peaceful, well-located stay. However, if you’re looking for a party space, social hub, or romantic getaway, this won’t be the right fit.
Booking Process:

About the Cottage:
Our light-filled cottage is privately situated at the back of our property, just behind the main house where we live. Featuring vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and abundant natural light, it provides a cozy and thoughtfully curated space for medium-length stays (up to 40 days maximum).
Inside you’ll find:
- Comfortable double bed with quality linens in a cozy sleeping nook
- Full kitchen with fridge, oven/stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle, and cooking essentials
- Wi-Fi and 40" Roku TV for streaming
- Private bathroom with shower, stocked with soft towels and toiletries
- Private patio just off the kitchen — perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation
Vrbo Guests Only — No Additional Visitors
For the comfort and safety of all, only guests listed on the reservation are permitted on the property at any time. No additional visitors or gatherings are allowed, indoors or outdoors, including the patio.
Host Presence:
We live on-site in the main house and are regularly outside maintaining the yard, mowing the lawn, hanging laundry, and caring for the property, including the areas around the cottage. We personally greet guests upon arrival to welcome you and point out helpful details in the cottage.
If you are seeking complete privacy and no interaction with hosts, this may not be the ideal choice, as we maintain an involved and friendly presence.

Parking Information:
There is no on-street parking directly in front of the home, as spaces are limited and reserved for residents. As a courtesy to our neighbors, we kindly ask guests not to park on our block. Convenient guest parking is available just three houses up the street (approximately 150 feet away).

Summary: I was in Boulder to be near son/grandson and this spot was great. Close to hiking. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom chilly on cold days (below zero) lots of sun in the kitchen. Loved the resident cats!

Summary: The cottage was perfect for my week in Boulder. Close to campus and Pearl Street, Boulder creek access, all walkable. Tucked into a beautiful quiet neighborhood with close access to the mountain hiking trails as well. Full kitchen, perfect for a single or couple looking for a little getaway in Boulder. Jean and Jim were lovely hosts, plenty of privacy but also, Jim helped me get to the bus to the Denver airport the day I left. A short walk to and from the bus. Great people, with two sweet little black cats that were so friendly. Definitely recommend!

Summary: This cottage is a hidden jewel in one of Boulder's most attractive neighborhoods. Perfect for a couple and easy walk to University Hill for dinner or to Chautauqua for a hike. The neighborhood is very quiet and offers easy access to the university. If there's anything that you would need, Jim and Jean are on it! Highly recommended for the perfect in town Boulder get-away!
