Congo is a small sea side hamlet about 12 minutes south of Moruya and 30 minutes south of Batemans Bay. It is surrounded by the Eurobodalla National Park on 3 sides and the beautiful Pacific Ocean on the other. Activities at Congo include surfing, swimming,fishing, beach walks or bush walks in the National Park, mountain bike riding, swimming in Congo Creek or bird watching.
Blue Wren Villa is situated on a large 2800 square metre site with only 1 other cottage. The property is only 50 metres from Eurobodalla National Park and has direct access to the southern end of South Congo Beach. That means that you don't have to cross a road to get onto the beach. The residence was completed in 2010 and offers 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry, open plan living-dining-kitchen plus a north facing front verandah. A hot water, out doors, beach shower is provided to rinse off after your swim.
Very suitable for a quiet holiday away from the crowd, although still close to most facilities that make a holiday a special time away. Ideal for a couple or a small group who appreciate a spotless home with all the comforts. The yard also has room to park your boat in safety and comfort.

Summary: We had a great 5 nights at this property in Congo, which we used as a base from which to discover the far South Coast. Bruce was a very welcoming and accessible host. The property was impeccably clean and very comfortable.

Summary: The place was so well organised, with everything needed. Just loved the coffee machine with a range of pods provided. Very clean and tidy. Brian and Jan were very helpful and welcoming. With the beach and National Park surrounding it on 3 sides, no shortage of wonderful walks. A short drive to cafes in Tuross Heads and Moruya made for a nice outing.

Summary: Our labrador loved our stay here. Perfect for dogs! Huge play yard. A few comments: - the showers are amazing! - loooong dog-friendly beach which demands balls and digging :) - outdoor heated shower is perfect to rinse sand off - the kitchen has everything that’s needed and the oven works great - there’s no bbq so only cooking options are the lovely oven or gas stove top. Bring your own bbq if this is an issue, we didn’t really miss ours. - the queen bed has a very firm mattress on, remember to bring a mattress topper if you prefer softer - there’s no air con or fans, however the house temperature is easily manageable with the huge windows and we didn’t have any problems. There’s a heater for winters - my favorite part is the patio. Perfect for morning coffee and breakfast and late afternoon drinks - tv is nice and we brought our own google tv, which made it easy to watch whatever - walk to the beach has steps but not many. There’s also another way down just a short walk down the street with fewer steps. Makes for a nice circle route to walk - Bruce is a great guy and loves animals too! - house is between the beach and forest Loved every moment of our stay! Will definitely be back! Summary: Well equipped villa, beautifully presented. Best of all was the very securely fenced property so the dogs could roam freely in the garden. Bruce and Jan and Ruby were very welcoming, and we are looking forward to booking another stay soon.

Summary: Great few days away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Nice and quiet, neat property. Beach at the back door, bush all around. What a little piece of paradise. Bruce was easy to deal with and responded with all information. Nice hike down to beach, great exercise to get back up. Will definitely be back
