Summary: If you're used to holiday rentals with half a loo roll and four knives and forks, you're in for a pleasant surprise here. The apartment has the feel of someone's well-loved holiday home so there are many additional extras from a very well-stocked kitchen (blender, toastie maker, salad dryer etc - no kettle though) and full size fridge/freezer, to beach umbrella and rackets and balls for the communal tennis court. The photos don't do it justice - it has a lovely airy and spacious feel ,very useful outdoor utility area for hanging washing and drying wetsuits etc. Best of all, very comfy beds! Am used to rock-hard beds in Spain and have a very bad back so this was a great surprise - lovely comfy mattress! East-facing terrace is great, plenty of room for 4-6 to dine and two comfy loungers shaded by the pine trees (it was boiling during our stay so we were very pleased to have the shade.). Top-floor flat means there is none of the annoying screeching of chairs over marble floors above you. Despite this being high season, the complex was relaxed and quiet with no noise at all after midnight. Our boys loved the generous pool with diving board which we even got to ourselves at certain times of day. Apartment was spotlessly clean and a bottle of cava was welcoming us. Lovely helpful and responsive owner. The flat has underground parking but we found it easier to park on the street as it's a bit tight if you have a medium-large hire car. Very safe to do so. Easy to walk into town and to the beach (uphill on the way back though so warn the kids, and the apartment is on the second floor so there are stairs, no lift). The last few days were exceptionally hot for this part of the coast and it did feel warm at night without aircon but if you wedge all the doors open, you can get a nice breeze going. Would highly recommend this apartment and the area, especially if you like diving and snorkelling - lots of lovely coves to explore and friendly local dive shop was a 10 minute walk away, as was the very well stocked local supermarket. We saw octopus, cuttelfish, an eel and even a common stingray just by snorkelling! All in all, a great stay with something for everyone.
