Summary: Three room apartment with a washer/dryer combo. Small but good fit for solo travelers or a couple. Steps to the beach, and short distance to restaurants and grocery stores. Comfortable and cozy, really enjoyed my stay!

Summary: The apartment is fully equiped and big enough for 2. The ocean is just a few steps in front and the marvellous beach in Famara is amazing. Restaurants and bars are around the corner and a supermarket, too.

Summary: The apartment was clean and functional and had all the basics we needed. There was a lack of windows and natural light but I think this is the old style of houses near the harbour to keep out sea moisture. Check-in was via a friend of the owner and was easy, as was check out.

Summary: The flat had all the essentials and was very conveniently located, very near the seafront. Good no-frills stay at a good price. Tips for future, ot is nice to provide kitchen and bathroom essentials (hand wash, oil, salt and pepper!) also leave room freshners ….

Summary: I definitely loved it. About Caleta de Famara, absolutely fantastic place for your holiday if you like to spend in active way. Perfect place for swimming, surfing, trekking, cycling. Lovely places around you, beaches, cliffs, volcanoes, little towns. If you do not rent a car there is many buses going all over the island. Cheap and on time! If you like posh holidays, sitting by the swimming pool bar and drink that apartment is not for you. It is very clean, 1 bedroom apartment with open living/ kitchen area. There is absolutely everything what you need to sleep, to eat, to bath etc. yes, it is a little dark at first sight but when you in Rome, do as the Roman does, open the door like Canarians do and enjoy bright light. That apartment is like 30 meters to the ocean and spectacular view on the Famara beach and the cliffs, you also can see La Graciola Island. Maybe you dont see the ocean but you can hear it! The owner of the apartment, Jose is a very nice, very friendly person. He don't speak English very well just basic but there is no problem at all to come to understanding each other. Yes, I recommend that apartment, that place! And I wish I could come back soon! Thank you Jose for everything!

Summary: I generally agree with the other reviewers of the apartment which is situated in Calle Sotavento. It is well suited for 2-3 surfers and is good value. Located 30 metres from the main promenade it is close to the little harbour and 300 metres from the main beach. It is situated in a residential area and is of typical canarian construction which allows quite a bit of ambient sound from within the building and from the street, but generally it is quiet in the evenings and at night. The apartment is modern, clean, well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen is generally well equipped, although it lacks a kettle (not essential but favoured by the Irish/British) and a decent vegetable peeler. ( Small complaints really). A previous reviewer mentioned the fact that it has only one window and I would agree that it makes the room quite dark, unless, like the Canarians you leave the door open a lot. The neighbours were very friendly and made me feel welcome.The owner, Jose does not speak English but responded promptly to any queries/issues that arose and he was helpful in any dealings I had with him ( I speak basic Spanish only). So, would I go back again? Yes, overall it was an enjoyable experience, despite the above limitations. Caleta de Famara is a pleasant destination and if you are there for an active surfing/watersports holiday this apartment will suit very well. Recommended.

Summary: The apartment was small but perfect for 1 or 2 people. However the kitchen is not well equipped. Needs more of everything. I was only one person but had to constantly wash items to use. Sweet place in a friendly town
