The apartment is on the upper floor of a 2-family solar house built from an ecological point of view; that means natural insulation in the walls, untreated wood, filtered outside air - (good for allergy sufferers), natural garden without artificial fertilizers and poisons against pests etc.
Most floor coverings are tiles, the floors in the gallery are made of cork or laminate.
Bathroom, kitchen, living and dining area are therefore equipped with underfloor heating, while the gallery has wall heating.

Summary: Herr and Frau Tischler are the most gracious and accommodating of hosts. The property is conveniently located just outside of Nuremberg in the quaint hamlet of Heroldsberg, and is large, neat, and very clean. We had to extend our stay for two days at the last minute, and had no problems doing so. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

Summary: We stayed 3 weeks in this apartment. Everything was perfect. Full equipped and super comfortable. Very very clean. Very close to grocery, bakery, drugstores and train. We felt like home! And the hosts are very welcoming. We use to travel this way in many country and this place was the best we saw.

Summary: Mike and Uschi were such wonderful hosts. The apartment is modern, in a quiet setting, yet close to Nurnburg. All necessary amenities are present and the hosts made sure we didn't need anything. We went to Nurnburg for a day trip, and the apartment was a great staring and ending point to relax after being in the big city. If you travel with a dog, there are many trails for enjoying long walks. I would highly recommend this listing for anyone.
