Positive: Location was good - great to have a warm hot tub at the end of a long day on a motorcycle trip where I was roasted from the heat, then soaked through in a rainstorm, then roasted again. Although the furniture was a little worn - the rooms were clean. Breakfast was great! And the morning desk clerk was very nice! I felt safe there as a solo traveler.

Negative: The evening desk clerk was unwilling to let me pay for an upgrade for a first floor room, which would have been easier for me (on oxygen) to unload and load my bike, - stated I had paid for a second floor room with one of "those other booking agents". What? I booked through Choice Hotels - which this place is a member of, although I did get a great rate last minute rate. Whatever - I was able to use a cart and an elevator so it was doable.

Summary: Under the same circumstances - yes - no one is going to suck joy from my day!

Positive: Clean room, comfy beds, strong AC, friendly staff, waffles for breakfast! Lots of restaurants in the area.

Negative: If I had paid twice as much I’d say it’s time for some renovation but for the price I won’t!

Positive: Someone tried to get in our suite at three am. Had a key and we had a lock on. We managed to send him away. We told front desk but nothing was done

Positive: The location was great, staff was friendly, quiet and peaceful stay, the bed was very comfortable

Negative: The pool was not open, breakfast wasn’t great, there were beds in boxes lining the hall, and based on other reviews, it’s been that way for some time. There were numbers printed on paper and taped beside the rooms.

Summary: I would stay there again, and look forward to the renovations being completed.
