Positive: The location was excellent. The corridors had just been refreshed with new carpeting and new paint, and the room doors had been refurbished. The electronic key system worked well.

Negative: Our room had signs of a lack of caring about basic hospitality aspects. For example, the wardrobe closet was entirely missing a rod from which your clothes would be able to be hung. Therefore, there was no place to hang clothes on hangers, due to the lack of the rod used for that purpose. When I told the front desk, they just made note of it, but did not offer to fix it for us. The morning breakfast was the first time I have ever seen a breakfast at a Quality Inn that did not offer any form of bread, or a muffin, or an egg, or a yogurt. There was just a pancake making machine, coffee, and two kinds of cereal dispensers, and orange juice. It was displayed in a haphazard manner, and in sparse quantities. No one was supervising the breakfast operatoon. The counter was capable of holding many other missing items, but they were not to be found. I complained to the front desk, and about the lack of presence of any kind of managerial staff. When we checked in at the front desk, the person behind the desk was non-conversant, and non-welcoming. He was only interested in silently processing our check-in. No courtesy conversation, no welcome at all. Our whole experience here was below the normally higher standards, on several levels, to what we have experienced at other Quality Inn locations.
