Positive: Beautiful property away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud! The pool with the view over the jungle is gorgeous and the hotel is surrounded by paddy fields. I really enjoyed borrowing the free bicycles and cycling through the area. Big shout out to the lovely staff who were very kind and always around to make my stay comfortable. I also really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the homemade jams!

Negative: The location is great if you’re looking to unwind in nature for a few days/explore the rice terraces north of Ubud but might be a bit far if you want to explore the town every day and don’t ride a scooter. The hotel do organize taxis though!

Positive: This was the most amazing stay of our Bali trip. The place is special, apart from the Bali tourist and traffic chaos, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the forest in front of our door. The staff is absolutely wonderful, we felt like King and Queen here. The food was really good, the pool is amazing, we had a massage and the romantic dinner that felt like a scene from a romance. Yes, it is outside of Ubud, but that is what makes it special. You live in the middle of nature and therefore hear the sounds of animals, but for us, that was wonderful as well. We didn't meet one mosquito and somehow the climate was a little less hot and humid. All in all, favourite stay and highly recommend! 😊

Positive: The good: staff is friendly, waking up with a jungle view is truly beautiful.

Negative: The bad: outdated, though well-maintained, the rooms are large but not very cosy with a very outdated interior. It reveals a hotel stuck in 2005; the coffee is bad (not only the included Bali coffee, but the not-included and pricy espresso’s are hopelessly watery lungo-americano) and the breakfast isn’t any good. Included breakfast comprised of stale days-old toast and mini-croissants of poor store quality not finished in the oven. Eggs and fruit were OK though cut the night before. The location is a half hour drive to Ubud, so you can’t just run off and have a breakfast bowl in town. The place was nearly empty aside from us, which is nice and quiet but unfortunately this means having to (understandably) decide way in advance at what time you’d like a coffee or breakfast. The pictures paint a picture way too sweet.
