Summary: A welcoming, warm, sunny home, semi-detached but quiet and private home with lovely views of craggy hill-tops and the ocean. A short drive from Diamond Harbour with wonderful walking tracks and an easy ferry ride to Lyttleton. Paul and Andrea are wonderful, easygoing hosts with a wealth of knowledge about the locality, and further afield. Thanks! Hopefully see you again, Brad and Family.

Summary: The property is well laid out over two floors, is very spacious and has a log cabin feel to it. The location is stunning with sea and mountain views. Paul and Andrea live next door and are very accommodating, providing local fruit from their trees and eggs from the chooks!

Summary: Andrea and Paul have a lovely property that offers fabulous opportunities for walking and exploring the flora and fauna Purau has to offer. The beds were very comfortable and we really appreciated the pre-prepared fires and chats :)

Summary: I stayed with my family for a long weekend and we had a fantastic time. The house is great and it has everything you need. There is a big table, umbrella and bean bags for sitting outside on the lawn and taking in the views and the country sounds...and having meals together. I highly recommend this place for a holiday that seems far away from Christchurch. The hosts are lovely people!

Summary: We very much enjoyed our time in your comfortable home with its beautiful setting. We loved our bedrooms,each with its own bathroom and outside door onto garden areas. Summary: Two couples aged 75-80 -house- perfect setup with ensuite for each bedroom. Spacious living. Warm and comfortable. Quiet and attractive outdoor areas to relax. A friendly bellbird visited the reshot poker less than a metre from us. Lovely to be able to walk freely anywhere on the farm without meeting others and through some regenerative Kanuka. All of this was a lovely surprise as we expected just a house like previous Bookabaches we have used. Lovely hosts too.
