Summary: Lovely comfortable accommodation with gardens, tennis court and a small lake. Plenty of room indoors and with outdoor areas to relax and catch up with family. Hosts were available if required but kept to themselves. We had a car and found it close to, or easy to access, everything we needed or wanted to visit.

Summary: We spent four nights in the Olive Grove cottage. It made a great base for our stay - it's only a short drive to major shops, but when you get back you can relax with views out to the gardens and olive grove. Marcia was a great host, very responsive (and we loved the fruit!).

Summary: We enjoyed our stay for 12 nights. It is a quiet location close to Christchurch and within a short drive to the Port Hills for walks, Halswell Quarry walks, Orana Wildlife Park, Willowbank Wild Life Reserve, etc, etc. All great places for families seeking outdoor activities not too far from the stay. You can enjoy just relaxing at the very clean facilities, a short walk through the olive gove or play tennis. A very enjoyable place to stay.

Summary: The Owners of this property had excellent communication skills. ALthough this property is older it has double glazing to ensure you have a peaceful stay. It has the Owners house nearby however it is set up in such a way that you have your own private seating areas. Black out curtains, a comfortable bed with excellent pillows and a large area to stroll around close to the city and yet it appears a long way away, make this property ideal.
