Positive: Loved the homestay so much extended by a few more nights. The family is adorable, there is a small op shop in front for your immediate needs. The host Paulus is amazing. Quiet location and great views of the rice paddy fields.

Positive: Everything was great. God bless their families' souls I felt so comfortable with the huge room and delicious breakfasts every morning.

Negative: Maybe a bit far from city center but close to other attractions so its not really a minus.

Positive: I loved the location with amazing views from the balcony of the property. Paulus and his wife were both extremely helpful with any requests such as organising trips around Toraja and event drove me to the bus station on my return. Breakfast was delicious also! I found it a great opportunity also to meet other guests travelling around Sulawesi.

Summary: A great place to stay offering excellent value. I would highly recommend it!

Positive: Location is just awesome, you get the full vibe of a hilly village and the main city is just at walkable distance. But the main highlight is the family, they are so hardworking nd humble.

Positive: The family welcoming us was really nice, everyone was really kind and ready to help us for anything. Paolus was an amazing guide, he told us a lot about Toraya region, traditions, ceremonies and beliefs. His wife food was one of the best we had during our time in Sulawesi, specially her breakfast pancakes.

Negative: The house is surrounded by rice fields so there were a lot of noises during the night: frogs, dogs, bikes and the restaurant near by was organising karakoes every night until late, so we had not slept so well.

Summary: We will come back happily in this guest house to discover more about the toraya region
