La Terrasse is an old barn/stable, fully renovated, in the beautiful provençal hill-top-village St. Martin de Castillon. It offers magnificent views over the hillside of the Luberon from every room. The Village is surrounded by lavender and vine fields. You will also find in the village a bistro, a corner store (with every day fresh Croissantes and Baguettes), a park and a public pool.
The house is about 90 m2 on four floors.
On the ground floor is the kitchen, with oven, stove top, dishwasher, microwave, water kettle, coffee machine and a small toilet room with washer and dryer. The salon with a large leather couch is on the second floor. The third floor offers the bedroom with a double bed and an armoire, high ceilings with exposed beams and the bathroom with shower and toilet.

Summary: We recently spent a week at La Terrasse in the village of St. Martin de Castillon. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we were more than happy with the accommodation and the village itself, which is off the beaten tourist track but still has all the conveniences including a bistro, local store and public swimming pool. The views from the village are breathtaking and the proximity to other villages and hiking trails is an added bonus. The house is charming with all modern amenities and is a great bargain. We highly recommend it!

Summary: My daughter and I rented the house for our vacation in Provence and it was an extremely positive experience from start to finish. The owner communicated very clearly throughout the rental process and we were greeted at the house as promised upon arrival. The house is very clean and in good condition. Rooms are spread over four floors providing lots of space. We were very comfortable during our stay as the bed, sofas, kitchen, etc are all in good condition. The location of this property is in a quaint village with a welcoming Bistro and a market with fresh croissants and baguettes. From here you can discover one of the most beautiful parts of Southern France. I would rent this property again on a return trip.

Summary: After a hectic and stressful travel to France, it was so nice to spend a very relaxing week at La Terrasse. The location is perfect, if you prefer 2 min walking distance to a corner store with every day fresh baguettes and croissantes and have a good café crème at the bistro. The village of St. Martin de Castillon hasn't really been discovered by mass tourism, which gives it an authentic and real Provence flair. Thank you for letting us stay at your charming house!!!!

Summary: We have had beautiful 2 weeks at this house and will always remember it. The house has everything we needed and the location is fantastic. Kim & Christian are the perfect hosts and were very helpful. We cannot wait to come back again.
