I love the Cortlandt Manor/ Peekskill area because of the wonderful restaurants, nearby towns, accessibility to NYC, and nature that surrounds us! This Vbro is a comfortable, cozy, and private bedroom in a single family house where my daughter and I live. I recommend this Vbro to individuals that are okay with pets. I have two cats, they are very sweet and friendly. They will not be in your space, but they will be in shared spaces. I also speak Spanish and French. Summary: We ended up not staying overnight. It was our decision based on the weather and needing to get to our destination (Ocean Grove NJ) while the weather was good. But Viviam was very responsive and understanding of our situation and I would reserve her spot again in the future. :-)

Summary: I was traveling for work and got exactly what I needed - an easy place to sleep. I got to meet the Host, Viviam, the first night. She was very nice and we had a great conversation. I also got to say hi to her cats, though they kept their distance since I was a stranger. After that, I was out the door before 7am and back after 9pm for both nights of my stay, so I can't say much beyond having a great host and a very comfortable bed.
