PRIVATE POOL!! Welcome to our 2 lovingly restored holiday cottages, each cottage has it's own private pool. At the end of a quiet lane, nestled on the side of a valley, there is no traffic, no noise and no distractions. Despite these tranquil surroundings, we are still close to all the main site seeing attractions at Sarlat, Les Eyzies, Perigueux, Beynac and Domme.
Originally barns, both properties have been recently renovated and are well equipped to provide you with everything you will need for your stay. Newly decorated and furnished, they have a bright and light feel, while still retaining some of the original oak beams and woodwork.
The large bedroom has a king sized bed, with French doors opening out onto the private terrace with private pool. The open plan kitchen, living room and dining area also opens out onto the private terrace and pool area. The living area comfortably seats 2 people, with sofa, dining table and fitted kitchen. The kitchen includes, gas hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee machine and kettle. The bathroom includes toilet, shower cubicle and washbasin. Free Wifi is available throughout the property and the garden.

Summary: Gite was compact and comfortable, just what we needed for a 2 week stay. The hosts Karen and Steve met us when we arrived, were really friendly and gave suggestions of where to visit. The location was perfect, peaceful, but easy enough with a car to reach other places to visit. We will definitely return!

Summary: Just back from 2 weeks at this beautiful little property and feeling so chilled out ! Great peaceful location with breath taking views and only a stones throw from the local village and a decent size supermarket. Superb base for exploring the wider area although have to admit we spent a lot of time just relaxing in the sunshine by the lovely plunge pool ! The property is well equipped and Karen was on hand should you need her with lots of information about the area etc . We had a great holiday and would recommend the property wholeheartedly ! ❤️

Summary: Had a wonderful week’s stay. A small cottage but with everything you need including a pool and all towels and linen. Very quiet at the end of a lane overlooking fields and a chateau. Lots of historical sites close by to visit and shops in walking distance (including boulangerie). Our property manager Karen was close by and available to answer any questions. Would highly recommend.

Summary: This is a special place to stay with all of the peace and quiet and beautiful views you may want and in easy walking distance of a great village too. Karen welcomed us on arrival and gave us helpful tips on the area and places to visit - she was also happy to tell us about their experience of running gites in the Dordogne since we were visiting properties with a view to buying something in the area. We stayed in the Old Barn which has everything you could need inside and lovely outside space with the pool and amazing views of the countryside and chateau. We were out a lot but made sure that we enjoyed the evening on the terrace every day. The second cottage is adjoining but separate with its own outside space so you don't feel overlooked. Rouffignac is a very nice village with good amenities and there are so many beautiful villages nearby to visit: we particularly liked Limeuil, Saint-Laurent-des-Batons and Cendrieux. For bigger towns, Perigueux is not far and definitely not to be missed. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend this lovely place.
