Very economical and private with a large 500gal hot-tub! Come stay in comfort and peaceful tranquility in Emerald Estates. Located just 5 min away by car, taxi or bus from the ski lifts and village of North America's #1 ski destination. The bus stop is 3 chalets away (there are ski and bike racks on the bus).
Our cozy 6 bedroom,10 bed chalet accommodates at least two families or a large group under one roof. More than 50 majestic evergreen trees surround our property, creating a private oasis when in the hot-tub sipping morning coffee or apres ski cocktails.
WE DO NOT RENT TO GROUPS UNDER 32 YEARS OF AGE. YOU MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 32 TO PROCESS A BOOKING. NO EXCEPTIONS.ALL OUR NEIGHBORS ARE FULL TIME RESIDENTS. WE HAVE ELIMINATED ANY PARTIES.
Even though the chalet is very private we ask our guests to be considerate and respectful of the neighbors especially when it comes to late night noise! THIS IS NOT A PARTY CABIN!!!!!
I.e. If you are looking for a stag, stagette,or expect to be noisy after 11:30pm, you are looking at the wrong place . DO NOT INQUIRE!
We rent for more than one months terms.
You will be walking distance from the shores of Green Lake and the Valley Trail, as well as other biking and hiking trails. One minute drive to Mckeever's general store, two minutes to Meadow Park Sports Center and gym.
We have a rustic,red brick,wood burning fireplace in the center of the entertainment living area. Firewood is supplied. Ample parking is all at street level. (No hills to get stuck on!) Snow clearing is provided after every storm.
Downstairs we have 1 king bed in the master bedroom and a single bunk in the room with the extra capacity washer and dryer. Upstairs there is a queen bed in the burgundy room with a door to the upstairs balcony, a queen bunk in the blue room ,a queen bunk in the room above the hot-tub and a double bunk over the ski locker. That's 10 beds total! (counting bunks as 2).
Smoking and PETS are STRICTLY PROHIBITED to protect ourselves and any one else that may suffer from allergies.
IMPORTANT: For various technical reasons, we have a contract under a residential tenancy agreement pursuant to the Residential Tenancy Act of B.C. You will need to sign this agreement as well as our own rental agreement setting out our terms and conditions. This is our standard protocol.
If you wish to stay the full time blocked for you and other additional time, we will adjust the rental price upwards accordingly.
Our rates are among the lowest per head in Whistler and are flexible.

Summary: We had a fantastic 2-month stay at Jim's charming Whistler home. It was the perfect haven for my family during our in-between homes period, while I commuted to work in the village. Summary: The house was perfect for us. It was a hot summer and the inside of the house was unbelievably cool every day and night through the heat. The landscaping around the house was very colourful and full of natural Whistler flora. Nice quiet neighborhood. There were lots of beds and bedrooms, so everybody had their own room. We had a group of workers here for several months and the house worked out well as our crews lost their staff accommodations in the spring.

Summary: This house did not disappoint! We had an amazing holiday with our family and another family. This house was the best deal in Whistler that we could find for the lowest price for our large group. We highly recommend it if you have a larger crew. The house was immaculate, private, beds were large, included everything we needed, and it was very cool at night for sleeping in the middle of a hot spell. It was just a few minutes to drive to the village or take the bus. We much prefer not to be in the crowded, noisy village. This house in Emerald Estates is a peaceful escape, just a short walk for a swim in Green Lake or to connect with all the biking and hiking trails. The landscaping is beautiful with colorful natural Whistler flora all around the property and many tall fir trees. The hot tub was clean and well serviced. The owners were pleasant and easy to deal with. We will definately be back!

Summary: We highly recommend this cozy,comfortable chalet that we have stayed in many times.Lots of beds for myself,husband,our kids,my siblings families and Grandma & Grandpa.I have also been up for weekend getaways during all 4 seasons with groups of friends. Spotlessly clean and well maintained.Stocked with everything you need-towels,linens,extra blankets,basic condiments,firewood etc.The owner is easy to deal with. Quiet,peaceful neighborhood.We have had bad experiences anywhere near the village trying to sleep with noisy crowds going home after the bars close and yahoos making noise anytime of the day. Ample parking for many vehicles.You won't get stuck in the snow with the regular snow clearing and because the lot is level with the road. Great to be a few minutes north of the village and escape the horrendous traffic anywhere south of the village which is getting exponentially worse each year. You really feel like you have escaped from the city sitting in front of the fabulous red brick,wood burning fireplace or enjoying the private hot tub,which is always clean,maintained and surrounded by many evergreen trees. The house is incredibly cool in the summer.Short walk to Green Lake,the Valley Trial and Emerald Park. Excellent year round municipal bus transit system with the stop just a few houses away. Mostly large beds.So much better than stuffing couples into small beds as I have done in other cabins. I have done a lot of research and could not find a better price per head for what you are getting.

Summary: Rented Jim's chalet for a weekend getaway and we had a great time. If you don't drive there is a bus that takes you into the village. The hot tub is amazing after a busy day. Lots of towels. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need. Bring your own tupperware and blender. Lots of board games and movies. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: A group of us rented the house and found it to be perfect for our weekend trip. There were lots of beds and the house is clean and in good shape. Jim was very easy to deal with and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The wireless network is pretty weak but other than that everything was excellent. I would recommend this property and would stay here again for sure.
