Summary: I had to wait two hours for my room to be ready without any confirmation on the timing. Later, I forgot my jacket at the breakfast restaurant, but staff initially told me it couldn’t be found, even after checking with hotel security. Only after I insisted they open the jacket cabinet did I find it there. Better communication and thoroughness in handling guest requests would improve the experience.

Summary: The Four Seasons Whistler is the place to stay in Whistler. While it's not technically ski-in/ski-out the frequent and quick shuttle ride and ski concierge more than makes up for it. Additionally, the service of the staff goes beyond anything you'd fine elsewhere and the atmosphere is clean, modern, and exciting.
