Summary: I can’t begin to express how rejuvenating and uplifting our time at The Malibu Retreat was! From the moment we arrived we were surrounded by tranquility and beauty. The views were breathtaking, like a painting coming to life! Every corner of the property was unique and magical! The pool, jacuzzi, firepit, cozy accommodations and cool yoga deck were super fun! The hosts were so welcoming and attentive! It was great not to have to worry about anything! Our family of 12 felt like it was our own resort! We left feeling transformed, inspired, and really connected as a family. We had such a wonderful time and hope to go back again with more of the family! I would absolutely recommend The Malibu Retreat.

Summary: Wonderful getaway that still is close to everything. We stayed for 2 nights with family for a college graduation. Everything was conveniently laid out for us and all in working order, including the BBQ. The view was spectacular, the setting serene and relaxing. Yet, we were only a few minutes' drive from either Malibu or Calabasas. It's a unique home with a unique feel to it, but at the same time, it doesn't deter a family or friends from enjoying it's usefulness. We didn't have the guest house but from what we learned in talking to the occupants of that unit, they enjoyed it as well. There is no interruption in either party's stay from the other house except to make sure parking if sufficient. And we loved the roaming peacock!

Summary: We loved the peace & quiet of the Malibu Retreat! It’s so close to LA, but is the middle of nature & the mountains. The air & skies were so clear & clean. All of the spaces to sleep & hang out were super cool & extra comfortable. The hosts were amazing & went above & beyond for us. The beds were high end & my wife loved the sheets, pillows & comforters. We all loved the pool & only wish we had more time there. It’s our new home away from home.
