Beautifully decorated with fully equipped kitchen, 4 spacious bedrooms, including master suite with sitting area and whirlpool, family room, living room with rustic stone fireplace, dining room for 10, open wrap around porch, walkout lower level with W/D, 2 car garage, waterfront with dock, canoe and paddle boards. Less than one hour from Jay Peak, Stowe and Burke Mountain.

Summary: Property was as advertised and served our needs. Nice quiet spot on a lake. Canoe, SUP, and ping pong table were pleasant surprises.

Summary: Second year in a row staying here. As peaceful as always. Location is great since it is secluded but also only a short distance from local farms/shops/breweries. The geese deterrents that were placed on the lawn work great only saw geese one day and they stayed away from the home. Can’t wait to return again, hopefully soon.

Summary: Property is awesome - great house in a perfect location. House provided canoes, wakeboards, fishing gear, etc for outside activities and a wide assortment of puzzles, books, CDs and videos for those rainy days you need to stay indoors. The front porch offered an escape to admire the solitude of the pond where the haunting calls of the loons kept us captivated. This was our 3rd visit to this rental property and already planning next year’s trip!!

Summary: There are a few things that should be mentioned in the rental description. Road leading up to house is dirt and muddy in some spots. House isn’t fully set up for elderly. There is a bedroom on main level, but no shower/tub. Stairs up and down are steep for elderly. Shower in main bedroom isn’t elderly friendly either. Getting in and our of tub/shower was tough and the shower didn’t work well and tub filled up while showering. Trim work is coming off tub as well. No towels were set up in bathrooms. We had to find them. Also, two dirty towels were left in main bathroom. Two TVs in house and we couldn’t get either to work at night. Kitchen is very worn and needs some updating, as does the drinkware. Garage was a mess. Trash was still in buckets uncovered from previous renters. All this being said. We did enjoy our stay with our family, but felt for the nightly price the property needed updates. I hate posting anything negative, but I know I would appreciate people being honest with their reviews.

Summary: We have vacationed here 2 other times and love how peaceful it is and really enjoy the scenery and nature. Always have a good time at this location if you want to get off the map and just relax.

Summary: This is our third trip up to the red house and it was amazingly zen as usual. Coffee on the porch, fires in the yard, and walking around and sledding during the day with the kids. This house has it all and is great for families with children. We had 2 adult couples and 5 kids (1 - 8 years old) and everyone had a blast. Highly recommended and our #1 choice for Vermont retreats!

Summary: We really loved our stay in Glover, VT. The house has a spectacular yard and porch, cozy bedrooms, and everything we needed (games, toys, etc). It's in the middle of nature and was the quietest place we've ever been. We had dinner by the fire pit and enjoyed the colorful hill tops as it was peak leaf changing season. The family room was the right size for our party of 6. It may be snug if you have more folks, but that's only if you are planning to sit in one spot all together (and inside). The owner was incredibly helpful in answering questions. We highly recommend this home.

Summary: We had an amazing stay! The house is so quaint and we loved sitting on the front porch enjoying the beautiful view. The kayaks, paddle boards, fire pit and rest of toys were such awesome bonuses. It was so cool to see the bald eagle every day! We’ll be back!!
