A private 2story home with 2-bedroom master suites, 2.5 bathrooms WITH full access to resort amenities in the private, gated and 24hr secured community of Laguna Shores Oceanfront Resort. The house is within walking distance to the beach (500ft) / estuary and beach house / community pool and restaurants (100ft). WIFI throughout home.
Home has 2 master suites downstairs with queen size beds, each with their own on suite bathrooms. Large glass patio doors give way to partial ocean view and plenty of natural light. Each bedroom has its own dual temperature mini split, TVs and alarm clocks. Each bedroom is nicely & relaxing tropical decorated. In the bathrooms you will find fresh towels, hair dryer, and clothes iron.
Upstairs are the living spaces where you can enjoy gorgeous view of the ocean and desert. On the furnished margarita deck (3rd floor) you can enjoy your morning coffee as you see the sun rise or admire the beautiful sunsets enjoying a glass of wine.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all major and small appliances. Kitchen sink has a water filtration system for worry free cooking plus a water cooler can be found in kitchen. A dining table with 4 chairs for family dinners and barstools at the kitchen counter allow for additional seating. The views from the living room are incredible and boasts plenty of sitting area. Living room has cable TV and DVD as well as a desk overlooking the ocean. There are 2 balconies from the living room, small balcony with desert views and large balcony with beautiful ocean views. Large balcony has patio set to enjoy the incredible sunrise / sunsets, it also leads to the stairway up to our margarita deck (3rd floor) where the views are breathtaking.

Laguna Shores Resort experiences one of nature’s best phenomena; tidal fluctuation. All year long we have two high and low tides per day. The distance between high and low tide is at its highest around the new moon and full moon. Tidal fluctuations are caused by the sun and moon gravitational forces and the rotation of the earth. And the tidal range is a vertical measure of distance between the high and low tide in one cycle. You can enjoy activities at high tide and since we are set back in a bay, you can walk in the water for quite a while even during high tide. The high tide is perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, swimming, shell collecting, kite surfing and whatever else you can think of doing. You can also kayak though our pristine and protected estuary. High tide is especially great for the young ones, as they can play in the puddles and pick up shells and see little crabs. It is a beautiful natural scenery to enjoy.

Summary: This is a great place! Lots of room in this gorgeous home. Amenities & staff inside the resort are amazing. Felt very comfortable & safe from the moment we arrived. Luz the host was outstanding in communication & responses. Luz even help me secure a local private caterer for our anniversary dinner. Do note location is 20 mins plus from Sandy Beach or shopping. But drive is super simple. Thanks for a great time on our anniversary vacation! Angela & James

Summary: We were so lucky to find this place in Puerto Peñasco. The house was absolutely perfect. We walked to the beach every day. Our pets were also very happy. Luz was in constant communication, asking us if everything was fine and giving us recommendation about local restaurants. We’re planning to come back!

Summary: Let me start by saying my wife and I liked the design and layout of the house. It was plenty room enough for the two of us and another couple if we visited again. This was our first Mexico in over 15 years. We were visiting for our anniversary and we also had friends who visited rocky point annually during this time who were staying in a beachfront condo in laguna shores. We didn't spend a lot of time in the house but a few things concerned us. The wall mounted hvac unit in the main living room on the 2nd floor didn't seem to work (bedroom units downstairs were fine). We arrived a little later than expected at about 3pm. I texted Luz about the living room AC. She responded pretty quickly suggesting to change the remote batteries. We did that but the remote seemed to turn on and off fine before and after changing the batteries. Maybe the unit itself needs a service or technology was above my knowledge. The weather in mid March was a little cooler than expected especially in the morning and night so no working AC in the living room wasn't a big deal after we turned on some fans and got the air circulating. Both bedrooms and bathrooms seemed similar in design but we stayed in the teal room as it seemed to be a bit larger. I wonder if the bed needed a new mattress. My wife and I seemed to sink in it and roll toward each other. There was also at least a 3 inch mattress topper on the bed; maybe to improve the comfort on a mattress that has had better days. As stated, we didn't spend a lot of time in the house during the day because we were out. The rest of the interior was in good working order. The only thing I would mention about outside is that I think the landscaping could use a little work. The house is on a small corner lot and there's a lot of construction going on with other homes being built. There was no border or separation of the property from the next. The outside of the house and the property appeared as if in the middle of a construction zone. Being right on the beach would be more convenient and definitely a top consideration if visiting again. I would not rule out renting this house again but a more comfortable bed would be a factor and if there in warmer months, the hvac in the main room would need to be functional.

Summary: Enjoyed staying at this house very much. It was a great beach getaway. The house was very well decorated and was well stocked with everything we needed. Very clean and had lots of overhead fans and great AC. The host was very attentive and was easy to reach regarding any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Summary: Cute house in Laguna Shores. Lucy was an amazing and responsive host, checking in on us and the property a few times to make sure we were all doing great. House is close to the beach, restaurant and pool. Security was attentive and recognized our party after day 2 of our stay. House is located in a quiet and relaxing neighborhood. We will definitely be back.
