Summary: Greeting by reception staff was good but they had an issue with my hotels.com booking which was fully paid for. Obviously this was not my issue but between the hotel and the provider. The evening receptionist was nothing short of rude, short with me because I wasn’t sure if my room number (I would usually take my room key out with me but this was not allowed “in case of a fire” and then asked me to book my breakfast

Summary: A fabulous old building with charming interior. Very comfortable rooms and dining room. Clean room and bathroom; certainly adequate for a short stay staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast is a feas.. Be aware that the parking is not onsite as listed. Strongly advise phoning the hotel for info and directions.

Summary: Excellent service as per normal, we stayed for 3 nights and ate in the restaurant every night, food was excellent. All the staff are so friendly nothing too much trouble. Well stocked bar drinks not overpriced like some hotels. The only downside was my wife who has walking difficulties found the shower tray a little bit slippy.
