Positive: For some reason the front door wouldn't open up, but when we sent a message to the host through booking.com, after a minute he called and pressed whatever button needed pressing to let us in, so no problem. The apartment is relatively small (a studio with a double bed, and a sitting area with couch that folds out into a second double bed, plus a tiny kitchen in the hallway) but well designed and outfitted and does the job. All the necessities are nearby - a large grocery store, and highly recommended the Mahr's Brau brewery (the Schweinehaxe is amazing and a steal at the price), as well as an icecream place just a bit further than the brewery.

Negative: Just be aware that it's a solid 20 minute walk to the train station with no practical public transport (bus) alternative, so if you don't have a car, walking or taking a taxi (10-12 Euro) are effectively the only options. Also getting to the town center is a 20 minute walk, though at least for that trip a bus can take you most of the way.
