Summary: Cozy, quiet, spectacular scenery, our dog loved it too. We will be back. Stating cabin number 45, which is a freestanding cabin on a hillside, very private porch that backs up to a beautiful forest in Boulder Stream Hill. A mule dear was betting down back there to greet us.

Summary: My husband liked softer pillows than what was in our room, but they were just right for me. I slept like a baby. Room was not cleaned daily, but could be replenished with amenities on a daily basis (I think this was because we were a short stay). No bother for us as I was going to request the same anyway. No one stays in their room all day in this area unless they are sick. Too much to see! Very nice and economical. Restaurant atmosphere was very nice; food was above average. I would definitely stay there again.

Summary: The setting is absolutely beautiful, up on a hill, surrounded by trees and well cared for grounds. Location is excellent, set back off the highway yet immediate access to it. The cabins are situated very nicely--no one is "jammed" in with their neighbor. The restaurant on premises (just as you enter off the main road) was phenomenal. Excellent food and service; lovely setting! Our cabin had a livingroom, bedroom and loft and I believe it sleeps 8. We were 3 and it felt "smallish." The kitchenette is tiny.Hardly any counterspace. Microwave, coffeemaker and mini (very mini) fridge looked like a kid's play kitchen. There is a round table with 3 chairs only--worked for us but a larger group would have to take turns. We made this work by having only coffee, donuts and danish in our cabin. There is 1 wall AC in the living room/kitchenette area. Despite the temperature outside being cool at night, the AC could not reach the bedroom or loft. The loft was particularly warm/uncomfortable. One of us ended up using the sofabed in the living room instead of the bed in the loft. If we closed our bedroom door, it was quite warm so we slept with that door open as well even though hardly any cool air reached the room. Bathroom was clean and towels were plentiful The wall knob for the heater there didn't work. We reported it the same day we arrived. No one came by...at least not during our stay.

Summary: The entire property is in excellent condition, well maintained, with great and attentive staff. We chose this property because it was highly rated, and the rating is deserved! We rented a double queen cabin. The beds are very comfy. Pillows are a little firm, we brought our own from home. The kitchenette and bathroom areas are modern and well-stocked. The room’s AC unit is a little aged but works really well. Center night stand doesn’t have any USB ports, bring your own charger. The food in the restaurant is top notch, and the restaurant has a reputation all around that area for the best food in town! We received a $15 food voucher, which was a nice perk! All-around great deal for the price, and a beautiful property and cabin. Our whole family voted 10/10!

Summary: The cabin I was staying certainly had seen tons of events! It looks super tired, old and dark! It's kinda creepy. I mean: who and why place a rocking chair inside a dark curb that is suppose to be a closet??? And also there were black and white photos of 23 mens and a blurry dog in front of the presidents faces of Mt. Rushmore, staring right into the bed. Overall, a historical stay. Food on the bright sunny side was amazing!! I can't say no to fish for breakfast and it was super!

Summary: It was ok. The view from my room was mostly the main road. As. For the price no matter what room you get you should get a view of the area not the road.
