Positive: Bruce’s place is located quite close to the airport, and has an incredible view overlooking the lagoon in front. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, very comfortable mattress, fully equipped kitchen, nice patio with an outdoor table and chairs, hammock… and to top it all the host Bruce is super friendly and hospitable, will help you with anything you need. Make sure to stay here if you want to enjoy a more secluded place. You can rent a scooter from the host to reach anywhere you need in the island.

Negative: The water pressure is a bit low, but this is quite common across the island. Also be prepared to face lots of mosquitoes! (Again, nothing that can be really controlled, this is a thing everywhere in Providencia)

Summary: Home in paradise, can only recommend!

Positive: This is a beautiful studio in a multigenerational household. It’s meticulously clean and comfortable with excellent ac. It also has a large stone veranda with a chaise lounge and a hammock. Bruce, the proprietor, is extremely friendly and helpful and delivers a gourmet breakfast every morning. The WiFi is adequate but very weak, and a clean water dispenser would be a welcome addition. You will need to rent a motorcycle or a golf cart type vehicle.
