Positive: Easy Parking Bed comfort was excellent My higher level room category allowed me to have a very big room. AC was good. Location good but others were right in the heart of old Colonia.

Negative: Breakfast was very meager just sweets and micro sandwiches. They had 150 eggs in the kitchen but never cooked nor offered to make eggs. Bathroom was small. We’re not fat and can move in tight places but even for us athletes this was way too small and not ok. Toilet moved around and a fixture broke. Level of English competency was low. Boo! Chairs in room were rickety, not solid nor comfy to sit. The wardrobe while old and nice in design was not easy to open on the R or L side

Positive: Staff friendly & breakfast is good. Location to old quarter & to ferry terminal is close by

Negative: If you expect a good night sleep then don’t choose this hotel. Very loud music was played at a local bar/club from 11.00pm till 5.30am on night we stayed !!! It kept us awake the whole night Apparently this is normal . If we were to return we won’t be choosing this hotel

Positive: Clean, centrally located, convenient, comfy bed, filling breakfasts, and most importantly quiet. The air conditioning worked well, a little too well; had to use the comforter even though the unit was set to 27 Celsius.

Negative: The old fashioned skeleton door keys. They may be quaint, but they are a pain in the arse.

Summary: Very relaxing stay. I enjoyed the bed and the breakfasts especially.

Positive: The bed was big and comfortable, the room was big and the staff very helpful and polite! We also enjoyed the breakfast!
