Summary: Absolutely beautiful location in the valley. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Staff were lovely and very helpful, especially with confirming reservations for activities in the area. Highly recommend!

Summary: This property is really well managed and cared for. The view from the bungalow we stayed in was beautiful and made the stay very special. Breakfast is delivered daily and was very good. We ate in each evening, facilities worked well for this. Pool was really nice and clean and lots of lounging options.

Summary: Portovella is truly a unique and outstanding accomodation. The property itself is absolutely magnificient: Spectacular infinity pool, super spacious high-standard appartments with great views on the Douro river. But what really makes the difference is the staff. They take perfect care of absolutely everything, indoor and outdoor areas are spotlessly clean, they prepare breakfast for you at the time of your preference, and if you have a special wish they make it possible! Overall, this is a 5 star experience without any limitations!
