Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Great location. Very quiet at end of road, right on sea front. We even had our own small beach outside of the cottage. A very comfortable cottage which we enjoyed and our two dogs were very comfortable there too. Good size kitchen dining room and lounge.

Negative: We found the main bed on the small side which meant we slept in separate rooms and the door to the single room is very difficult to open.

Summary: Great location for this comfortable cottage.

Positive: I had visited the property many many years ago as a child, so knew the perfect location of this beautiful cottage. I was a little concerned about a couple of more recent reviews, however the cottage has since had a good refurbishment. The upstairs toilet and main bathroom have been tastefully refitted. New flooring throughout (with the exception of one room that was in good condition). The kitchen looked refreshed and very pretty/in keeping. The soft furnishings, curtains and blinds are all beautiful and new . The bedding was hotel grade and wonderfully fresh. The house felt very clean which gave us a very relaxing holiday. The central heating (if you are planning a break in the colder months) is excellent and very quickly warms up the cottage.

Negative: I wouldn’t say that I didn’t like this about the cottage but the wifi isn’t great, the cottage has thick stone walls, it does work just a weaker signal - we look at it as an opportunity to switch. I feel the cooker could probably do with being replaced. I think it was clean but the enamel (if that is what it is) is flaky in areas. The function pictures have partly worn off the dials so there was a little bit of guess work too. I’m fairness we only used it once though as there are too many tempting places to eat out.
