Positive: The apartment(s) were in a stunning position with magnificent water views and sunsets. Thy were immaculately clean and well maintained. We were slightly confused on arrival as we thought we had only booked one apartment but in fact it was made up of 2 identical small one bedroom apartments sharing the same terrace so you still had the same privacy as was expected. Coromandel town and area is stunning and an excellent example of how beautiful NZ is! A must to take in some bush walks! The large Kauri within the Long Bay walk is a must to see, being in excess of 800 years!

Negative: Everything was lovely. My only comment was that having the 2 apartments without an internal access made the living space a little small, us being just a couple and living in only one of the sitting areas. However, it would be perfect for 2 couples as there would be a certain amount of privacy with independant living spaces, although sharing the terrace and BBQ area.

Negative: The door would not lock on small apartment & we did not use half of what we rented, I think some discount should apply, the manager did not respond to my 2nd call regarding this or fix a noisy fridge we mentioned

Positive: Apartments were clean, new, well equipped and large. Balcony fantastic. That view SPECTACULAR. So central to township and everywhere we wanted and needed to go. The view from our balcony was so special we decided too savour our time their by ordering fabulous meals from Pepper Tree restaurant who were happy to provide in take away containers and we spent every dinner enjoying the sublime view from our balcony. It doesn’t get much better than that! Choice of cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, liquor stores, services, etc etc great.

Negative: Nothing really. Only suggestion would be to consider fly screens on main door to discourage the few missies.

Summary: Sublime, special and serene. Good for the soul.
