Summary: We had an absolutely lovely time on Nantucket staying at Barbara and Rob’s house. Communication was excellent and the property was lovely. The house had everything we needed - we would definitely stay again.

Summary: First The owners Rob and Barbara were so kind and helpful They were attentive during the whole process and answered all of our questions. The property was situated in beautiful Miacomet and close to all of our favorite things to do. The pool area was amazing and a bonus to have after spending the day at the beach or an early morning distraction for our grandchildren ages 9 months,and twin 7 year olds. The house was well equipped and beautifully maintained We will be hoping for a revisit next summer and all 9 of us hope to return and would love to stay longer. Thank you Rob and Barbara for being such wonderful hosts we enjoyed your home and this was our favorite stay on the island over the years we have rented many homes but this is the one. Plenty of space to be together and plenty of space to have some space The abundance of beach chairs umbrellas and coolers was so helpful. The washer and dryer a bonus as well. thanks again. Hope to be back next year Tom and Carolyn

Summary: Cleanliness would be an understatement. Abundance of beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. made packing a lot lighter. Unusual layout of the house but it worked well for us.

Summary: Our family absolutely loved staying at this wonderful, spacious home for 2 weeks! It had plenty of room for us to spread out as well as to gather together when we wanted to. It was very clean and so well equipped with anything you could need for a ACK vacation! The location is amazing, close to Miacomet golf, Cisco, Miacomet and Ladies beaches, Bartlett Farm, and Cisco Brewery. The owners, Barbara and Rob, could not be nicer or more responsive to any and all questions. You can tell they take great pride in keeping this property pristine, both inside and out. I cannot say enough great things about them and this beautiful home.

Summary: 115 Somerset Road is a delightful blend of old and new like the island itself. Clean, tastefully decorated, original art works, quality appliances, kayaks, bikes, loads of linens, beach towels, games, videos, beach umbrellas, beach coolers, sand pails ... we loved it ... especially the lovely pool after beach time. All of our children and grandchildren had a magical week and so much of that had to do with the ambiance, comforts and amenities that this house provided. Thank you Barbara and Rob for you hospitality and your talents.

Summary: First off, the photos don't do this beautiful home justice. It's gorgeous, spacious and perfectly laid out - and the pool and yard are perfect. Second, the owners, Rob & Barbara are the nicest, coolest people, super helpful and responsive when needed. The house has everything from beach chairs, to a more than fully appointed kitchen that even a top chef would envy! Centrally located - just a 5 minute (and beautiful) bike ride to the beach and a quick ride into town. We hope to come back next year and create more beautiful memories all over again! Thank you Rob and Barbara for being awesome! We loved our stay! We highly recommend booking this house! Loved everything about it!

Summary: A wonderful home to vacation! Barbara and Rob are very reachable and are quick to respond with any issue or advice, before, during, and after our stay! We are a family of: (2) grandparents; (2) adult children and their spouses; (1) adult niece; (5) grandchildren ages 2 years - 9 years. This home has everything to make it special: lovely to look at, warm and inviting; furniture that you are not afraid to sit on or use; well maintained with lots of towels and sheets and clean, clean, clean; well-stocked kitchen; a full-size washer and dryer in the mud room; (6) bedrooms, with comfortable beds enough for all of us; (4) bathrooms, (2) of which are ensuite. There is a loft with a double bed that the children love to use to play "fort" or where the big kids go so the little kids do not interrupt their Star Wars play! The pool in the backyard is a hit with the kids and the adults! With so many ages, there is always a nap time involved. The child can nap while the children play in the pool, then we get to go back to the beach! The beach has great waves for the older children and a pond close by that the younger ones enjoy. There are 2 kayaks at the house that we take for rides around the pond. The kids love that! The golf course is an easy walk from the house. The golfers in the group love that. They play early in the AM almost before the kids are awake, and are back in time for beach or pool or trip into town. The yard is the perfect place for a baseball game, a game of catch, water balloon fights, lighting sparklers, catching lightning bugs, etc., etc.. A trip to Cisco Breweries is always a hit with everyone. The music, the fun, the food, all are enjoyed by everyone. It is also a quick walk from the house, as well as Bartlett's Farm. Fine dining is not an option with all the kids, so we usually make sure we get to The Tavern at least once and The Lobster Pot is an annual treat! And of course the ice cream at Stars is a must, as well as Aunt Leah's Fudge! The adults in the group prefer Straight Wharf Restaurant or the fine dining at The Cliffside, but these days are mostly time to spend with the whole family. Our children live in Chicago and LA so our times together are special. This house and this island that we love so much, is the perfect place to unwind, relax, and enjoy each other's company! We do not hesitate to recommend this home to any group or family! For this multi-generational family this home is PERFECT!!
