Welcome to Sportsman's paradise! The Boudreaux is the namesake of the infamous Boudreaux himself who won this place in a bet from Thibodeaux. Thibodeaux bet his camp he could swim 50 miles to the rig. He swam out 25, got tired, and decided to swim back losing the bet and his dream camp to Boudreaux.
You’ll want to spend most of your time on the pool deck. Thibodeaux's camps are the only ones on the island with deck pools overlooking the beach. It's got plenty of chairs and picnic tables to hang out poolside and enjoy the beachfront views. The pool even lights up at night - Something Thib didn’t tell Boudreaux until he went skinny dipping.
The kitchen (where Boudreaux tries to keep Marie) offers plenty of storage and counter space for hosting large groups of friends and family. And when Boudreaux first heard about the large island in the kitchen he showed up with a six-pack and a beach chair.
The living area is open and offers a large L shaped sofa with views out to the beach.
Each of the four bedrooms has two queen beds and a full bath. “Marie, why are they all queen size beds?” “because I’ve seen what happens when I treat you like a king.”
Boudreaux’s luck changed, winning this camp with access to the beach right in the heart of some of the world's best fishing.

Summary: The camp is newly constructed upon writing this review. It was well thought out and delivers a Destin Beach house feel minus the blinding white sand. It is well decorated and outfitted for all of your needs. The pool on the back deck is perfect for hanging out and keeping cool while enjoying the view. I hosted clients and it was ideal for entertaining and created the perfect environment to socialize. The beds and furniture are all super comfy. Totally recommend this property. Just bring your groceries and you are all set.

Summary: The house was brand new and decorated beautifully. Several family members have camps on Grand Isle or nearby. This was a great gathering place with an open kitchen/living room. The deck was great with plenty of seating and the pool was perfect, especially for the kids and those who don’t enjoy the water at the beach. We were missing a few items at the beginning, but got them delivered the second day. Personally, I thought the rental price was very high, but it was worth it for us to be able to see almost all of the nine siblings. They spent a good part of their childhood on the island and brings back good memories for all of them.
