Polmaro is a stunning modern apartment that overlooks the beautiful Percuil River, you could easily while away the hours gazing out at the clusters of moorings, the ebb and flow of the tide, the way the reflections of the sunlight change during the day, and how the boatyard itself function from launching RIBs and dinghies to repairing larger yachts. If you have a boat or RIB of your own the yard would be happy to help sort out launching etc. The accommodation is spacious with a galley style kitchen to the rear of the open plan living and dining room, a double bedroom and a shower room. The views of the Percuil Rover from Polmaro are partially restricted by yachts on the hard standing between October and May.
St Mawes is one of the most exclusive traditional villages in the Country, with a wealth of activities within close reach. Historic Castles from the era of Henry VIII, glistening blue waters, bustling beaches, Cornish Pubs, award-winning restaurants, amazing coastal walks, ferries to different locations, little motor boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards, all available for rental. (During the season) The Roseland peninsula has a huge variety of places to explore, there are many beaches, some with golden sands, some with shingle, all with a splattering of rock pools, there are secluded coves, towering cliffs, and the famous lighthouse at St Anthony. (Fraggle Rock for everyone of a certain age!) The artists' haven of Portscatho is well worth a visit, as is Veryan. with its famous round houses.

Summary: Great location , stunning views, walking , ferries to other places ,places to have coffee and eat and visit ,can get about with no car . 4 th time we’ve stayed here

Summary: Lovely apartment overlooking boatyard and river, provided everything we needed. Beautiful area and very quiet during February which was lovely for us. Not suitable for anyone with disabilities as steep hill and flight of steps to apartment. We’d definitely book again, thank you.

Summary: Lovely, well equipped place and I like a supportive bed but honestly, it was like sleeping on concrete. For that reason I would not return and could not recommend it. It just needs a 2" mattress topper.
