Summary: This is our favourite hotel in Brisbane. This time we stayed in a balcony room with a view of the river. As always, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Renovations are taking place in the restaurant downstairs, but this did not affect our stay at all as food and drinks were still being served on the top floor Eagles nest. We love that the area around the hotel is quieter than in the city, but it's just an easy walk over the new bridge to everything Brisbane has to offer. Disappointed that car parking is now charged but do understand that this may be necessary.
