Positive: Nice rooms with big open shower, I loved it! Great spot because you are right next to the waterfall and they serve amazing food. Wish we had more time here. The owner helped organize our trek up Mt. Rinjani and we probably had some of the best porters and guide out there. So friendly and fun to hangout with. 10/10 recommend these people for a nice stay.

Summary: Great stay with amazing food right there. Very helpful staff who organized our trip to Rinjani and made it so special.

Positive: I stayed for 10 days at this stunning place and enjoyed EVERYTHING. As a digital nomad I could work perfectly in the beautiful dining area at all times (wifi is good!) and with the best view on Mt. Rinjani. The breakfast selection was great (and included), you can exchange trekking stories with other hikers. I used my afternoons for hikes to the coffee garden, the waterfalls (AMAZING - went there twice!!) and booked a 3-day-2-nights trek to Mount Rinjani through Poetri Bungalows - the best price and they provided me with everything I needed and more, like poles, flashlight, snacks, advice. The tour was one of the best I ever did, made it to the summit with a great group - what a glorious feeling to stand on top of Mt. Rinjani at sunrise!! Thanks for everything, Ita!! I loved my room, too, slept like a baby and enjoyed my time on my patio right in front of the jungle!! Missing it already and will surely come back!!

Positive: It was such a pleasure staying at Poetri. Ita and her staff were amazing and are truely beautiful people. Ita will organise anything you need from trekking tours to gear for the treks. It really is a one stop for all your needs for the area. It is located at the start of the walk to Tiu Kelep Waterfall and the bungalows face the forest so you can enjoy the black monkeys at play in the tree tops. Looking forward to returning as there is so much more to experience in this beautiful area. Thanks Ita

Positive: Very cosy and especially comfortable after doing the Stampol trek! Air conditioning and warm shower, with balconies with magnificent views over the Rinjani! The owner Ita is amazing - she organised the whole trek and visits to the waterfall with her trusted guides. She looked after our children as if they were her own. Definitely the place to stay if you are in Senaru!

Positive: So surprised by this place!! We only stayed a night but wish we’d done longer. The property and view was absolutely stunning, the room so comfortable and clean and the bathroom shower so hot!! The owner is beyond lovely - would recommend without hesitation.
