Positive: Such a beautiful place to stay. I highly highly recommend. Everything was so clean and welcoming. But the best part was Mae, Ruel and Loisa were so wonderful and accommodating. Ruel is a wonderful Chef. And Mae was such a delight! While Loisa is keeping the place absolutely spotless. Don’t hesitate and book this place during your visit to Plivitic Lakes.

We were very happy with the cleanliness of this place and the available facilities in the room. Most importantly, we were touched and impressed with the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Positive: Great hospitality- Mae and Louisa were awesome ! Modern rooms were spacious- especially for Europe.

Negative: No communal area to hang out. Room was kept at a very high temp - that seems to be the norm in Croatia on the winter.

Summary: The snow concerned us but the street to the property was well maintained.

Positive: I had a very pleasant stay at Plitvice Falls Cottage. The property is secluded and peaceful, exactly the quiet retreat you want after a full day of hiking in Plitvice Lakes. The room is spacious with a very comfortable bed, and it was wonderfully quiet at night, giving us a great rest. The bathroom has all the basics you need, and everything felt clean and simple. Overall, the combination of a peaceful setting and genuinely caring staff makes this a lovely place to stay, as long as you don’t mind the small adventure getting there.

Negative: The location can be tricky to find, whether you’re using Google Maps or a car GPS. We even ended up at the neighbor’s door, but the staff was so warm and hospitable that they came out to find us and guided us in. That alone speaks volumes about their kindness.
