Summary: A week of total relaxation, pampering and spectacular views...must be Playasola. This thoughtfully designed home was welcoming and functional with ocean views from every room along with beautiful decor and overly comfortable beds. There are so many areas to explore on this property from the sports complex (try the 100+ stairs for a great workout) to the beach palapa to the open air living room and pool deck. Each provided an unique experience for a full day of enjoyment without the long walk or crowds of a traditional resort. And from the moment we stepped onto the sandy beach of our "home", the exceptional service and attention began. Rudi did not allow a finger to be lifted seeming to know our request before we could make it. Sondra consistently prepared delicious meals for our hungry crew. And once the evening approached, Luis served with a caliber of excellence while Umberto prepared dinner with great skill and taste. Even our teenagers were impressed! Our group of nine (four adults and five teenagers) agreed this one is a keeper! We have already begun planning our return as Playasola gave us everything we needed...time to relax, enjoy family and be truly spoiled.

Summary: A friend group of 5 moms and their 5 high school senior daughters spend 5 nights at this amazing home in January 2016. Everything was perfecto - from the impeccably furnished three-story house, to the delicious and freshly prepared meals, to the made-to-order drinks all day/night long, to the beautiful landscaping and beach, and most of all - to the outstanding staff that made our stay wonderful. We will definitely return, and our daughters are planning many reunions at Playasola.

Summary: I'm not sure how this is possible, but the villa exceeded our high expectations. We have viewed it from a passing panga the past couple of years so we knew the location was awesome, but once inside we found that the construction, furnishings, and amenities were also impeccable. We marveled and wondered about the effort it must have taken to build such a place in that remote location. Of course what made our stay so relaxing and decompressing was the attentive, friendly, and professional staff. They were all top notch. Luis was the true ambassador of Playasola. He was knowledgeable and helped us decide on and arrange activities such as massages and fishing. He also shared helpful information about Puerto Vallarta, Las Animas, Playasola, and the owner's other properties such as Casa La Vista. As a bonus we were never thirsty when Luis was around. I don't want to take anything away from anyone else because they were all wonderful, but Luis is who we came to rely on the most and he really made us feel at home. I have to mention that Juan also got to know our preferences and cooked phenomenal meals. We spent a good amount of time scheming about return visits (with and without kids) Thanks for providing a wonderful location, villa and staff!
