Positive: Lovely cool stone house just off a fun walking road with restaurants and shops. It's easy to find, just park at the Aperanthos public parking and walk down the main road, it's surprisingly flat and with minimal stairs given how much of a hill the city is on.

Positive: This place is in the perfect location to explore the beautiful village of Apeiranthos! The host, Maria, is excellent at communicating with her guests. We put the washing machine to use which was very helpful for our long trip. Checking in and out was smooth, and we really appreciated the food and coffee she left for us. If you’re looking to stay in the culture-rich village of Apeiranthos then look no further!

Negative: Nothing at all. Everything was great!

Summary: Couldn’t have asked for better, we would gladly stay here again.

Positive: The location and village were fantastic. It’s a beautiful property with a little balcony leading off the bedroom. For our meals we just popped out and had the most incredible choice of excellent restaurants. The village was the most attractive on Naxos ( in our opinion!) We had a hire car and drove to some beautiful beaches on the east coast.

Negative: We had a fantastic stay but there was a lot of music playing loudly from the little bookshop nearby. Which was fine but sometimes too much! Also one night we got very little sleep because of men at a very close restaurant/bar singing until 7.30 am!! Now we’re home it was atmospheric and I’m glad the village isn’t a museum and the local men were having a good evening. But at the time we were very tired the next day!

Marie is a lovely owner and is readily just a text away. I would definitely go straight here is i ll come back to Apeiranthos . It really exceeded my expectations!

Positive: Very clean and nicely furnished property, right in the center of Apeiranthos. It is a house which is arranged like a "tower". i.e. each room is on one floor, connected with a staircase: Kitchen (incl. dining space) is in the basement, Living room at ground floor level, one bathroom is in a souterrain level between basement and ground floor. The master bedroom and the 2nd bathroom are on the first floor, with a small cute balcony. The kitchen was very well equipped, one could easily stay here and do self-catering and cooking for several people. (Luckily I did not suffer any knee problems during our stay as otherwise the constant use of the staircase to go to kitchen and bathroom might have been a real problem.) Overall a very charming, nicely decorated dwelling!

Negative: The 2nd bathroom, the one adjacent to the master bedroom, has a door that cannot be closed - and I don't mean "locked" but closed. The door stays open. The floor is not level, part of the charm of old houses, and the door is hinged in such a way that it gets stuck at about 25% of the way because it cannot lift over the non-level stone floor. Everything in the bathroom is usable, just be prepared to use it with the door open. Luckily there is another fully-functioning bathroom at souterrain level, with a door that closes and locks.

Positive: Maria met us in the square and was super helpful the entire time. The house is right in the “heart” of it all. We loved being in the village, meeting loads of people and chatting. The house is very comfortable spread across 3 floors with a great shower. Maria also left us lots of nibbles and coffee to make it a real housewarming!

Positive: Fabulous location in town center ... Full kitchen was very handy. Made use of the washing machine. Lovely small balcony on top floor. Good size main bathroom with hand held shower. Mary was great communicator and great host answering all our questions and great recommendations

Negative: You just need to be aware of the spiral staircases that link the 4 levels. Would not suit anyone who had knee issues. Also 2nd bathroom is very small
