Negative: Never had to pay a deposit before. Always just credit card details taken. Not a good system ! online booking awkward. Finding property difficult as not well signposted as cottages, only Hall. Should be both. Needs to be much clearer as on a narrow country lane with passing places so turning difficult when you go too far because the signage is not there.

Summary: Ok but not one Id recommend.

Positive: The location was excellent for a quiet retreat. There are good walks and views around the area. Everything was clean and tidy and had the essentials provided. Staff on site and emergency contact displayed clearly on site. Staff was very friendly and helpful and came to check if everything was OK.

Positive: Beautiful setting and buildings, cottage was warm and cosy. The shower is a bit pokey, but works perfectly and has a decent head with no blockages. We visited the area to attend a wedding, so didn't spend too much time at the cottage, but it was a lovely place to crash after a long drive and a night of partying.

Negative: Not a single mirror in the property! Not fun for 3 people trying to get ready for a wedding 😵 Some extra furniture like bedside tables and a dining table would help, along with some extra WiFi boosters, the TV couldn't get a good enough signal to stream anything.
