Positive: Lovely location, squeaky clean, comfortable bed and very friendly staff. There were a couple of issues described below, but I still would not hesitate to stay there again.

Negative: My main issue was the shower. There was no place to put a bar of soap or shampoo except for on the floor. As an older person, it was slippery with only the faucet or door handle to hold onto. Also, the area around the dining table was quite narrow, making it difficult to even slither onto the chairs.

Summary: A very pleasant place to stay.

Positive: Great staff, so very friendly despite the limited hours they were on site. Easy to work with to pick up and drop off keys in a lockbox. Property is a older, but updates had been done. Bed was comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Nearby beach area great for early morning or late evening walks. 17 mile drive starts very nearby and Monterey is only a short 10 minute drive away.

Negative: There are no walkable restaurants or grocery stores, Minor complaint and we knew that before booking.

Positive: Everything was fantastic. Very spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. Great location as well. Short walk to Asilomar State Beach, close t everything.

Positive: I liked the location, close to the beach, the trails and downtown. The fully equipped kitchen and comfortable dining area were impressive. I was surprised with amenities like a hot tub in the upstairs bathroom. It was quiet, a perfect place to relax.

Negative: I don't know if it was bad but I got a lot more than I asked for. Through Booking, I asked for a room for 1, which almost always translates into 2, but got a town home that could house up to 6 people. Still scratching my head about this one.

Positive: The location was great and check-in was easy even though we arrived late. The location felt safe/ secure and the free parking was helpful. We accidentally left my wife's charger behind and the host kindly contacted us to let us know - very thoughtful

Negative: The pull out beds weren't comfortable and probably need replacing. We struggled to get the TV to work.
