Located a stone's throw away from the winery in a private paddock surrounded by grapevines, The Studio is the ultimate self-contained hideaway where you can admire glorious sunsets from the deck and enjoy the twilight company of your marsupial visitors. Pieter van Gent Winery & Vineyard is located about 10 minutes drive out from the centre of Mudgee. Close enough to town that coffee is always near but far enough out of town to see the stars in the night sky.
Spacious, airy and light the Studio has a fully equipped kitchen, a BBQ on the deck, flat screen TV and reverse cycle air conditioning. All linen is provided along with a complimentary bottle of wine. Tea and coffee making facilities are available along with milk in the fridge.

Summary: Great property located in the middle of a winery. Great if you love isolation. My wife got a little scared with noises in the night from the odd bird landing on the roof or kangaroos moving outside, but that’s country life. The property was exactly what we wanted and as described. Great location central to wineries and not far from town. Great deck to sit on and have sunset drinks ( need to bring aeroguard). The cellar door rents bicycles...my wife rented one and I brought one of my own, flat ride to neighbouring vineyards. The bed was comfy. The small kitchen was all we needed for breakfast. It was a warm weekend..air conditioning worked perfectly, but could open up all flyscreened windows at night and had cross ventilation so didn’t have to sleep with a/c on. Downside-no internet (probably pretty expensive to hook up a remote location like this) and Optus 4G reception was poor...some people enjoy the isolation...just couldn’t stream anything at night. Otherwise as great place to stay.

Summary: My partner and I fully enjoyed the peace an quiteness of this property. Nice and clean with all the basic necessities supplied Inc a lovely bottle of wine. My only suggestion would be to have screens placed on the big sliding doors as due to the weather, flying bugs an mozzies, we were not able too have the doors open of an evening and be able to fully experience the nice cool fresh air. Regardless we thoroughly enjoyed our break away and we would defiantly recommended anyone if you are looking for a modern home with beautiful mountain view please go and stay visit the winery and fully indulge in the experience. Summary: This property was utterly stunning. Kangaroos hopping around at dusk, air conditioning, all of the amenities you need. Service was wonderful. The girls at the cellar door were enthusiastic and very friendly and knowledgable. The red wine was a delight..Will certainly come back and recommend to friends.

Summary: Loved every minute of our stay here, clean, modern and very comfortable accommodation plus added bonus of local kangaroos. Very close to most of the wineries in the region. Would definitely come back.
