Just minutes north of Crescent City, nestled on 5 lush acres surrounded by a picturesque forest of tall redwood trees that showcase a beautiful new, non smoking,2250 sq. ft., 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home, with a 3 car garage with electronic door openers. The fully equipped kitchen which opens onto the dining and great room has tile floors, granite countertops, a double oven (convection option also), gas range, and side-by-side refrigerator. The double stainless steel sink and dishwasher are housed on a separate island that offers seating for entertaining. The utility room includes a pantry along with extra counter space, and is located directly off the kitchen where a washer & dryer are available for use.
The Great room includes sectional with 3 electric reclines, and a love seat to relax on while watching TV, relaxing with a book,or enjoying the comfort and warmth from the freestanding wood stove. The French doors open onto a nice covered patio where guests can enjoy the quiet beauty, and surroundings.
The four bedrooms offer plenty of storage. Located between two of the bedrooms is a Jack & Jill bathroom with their own separate sink and medicine cabinets. The shower is also separate from both the lavatory and sinks. The master suite has a TV, and sliding glass door that open onto the back patio. Included in the master bath is a large glass enclosed shower w/seat, a soaking tub, and two separate sinks. Grocery stores: Fort Dick Market 1/4 mile, Safeway and Walmart super store in town (10 miles),and Fred Meyers in Brooking (20 miles north on 101).
Sleeps 9 plus small child, Rate fee is for the first 8 people. Additional fee of $25, per person per night. (Will accommodate 12 people, with 2 king size mattresses in garage)

Summary: The house is right off the highway for easy access to the redwood forests and the beaches. We found fantastic trails in the state park less than 30 minutes away, and a great beach for exploring tide pools only 10 minutes from the house. Our family of 8 (3 generations) was very comfortable here. The rooms are all large and nicely equipped. The master suite is especially spacious with a huge bathroom. The kitchen has a gas range and all the appliances and dishes you need to make a family meal. We loved making s’mores at the outdoor fire pit. We really loved living in the quiet forest while still being only a few miles from supermarkets and WalMart.

Summary: We stayed at the house with kids raging from 20 months - 8 years old. The house was perfect. The outdoor swing set was a huge hit and and the space is warm and welcoming. Plenty to do for everyone and they had kid plates, silver ware, cups and a crib & pack & play. Also, lots of tames and books. The owners were very kind and sent us a list of fun things to check out while visiting. I would highly recommend this house. Thanks you for a wonderful stay!

Summary: We really felt at home here! The house was clean and the beds were so comfortable. We were able to bring our two small dogs as well. Mark was a great host and provided a list of information about the area- where to find cheaper gas and where to spot some Elk! Thank you, Mark for a fantastic stay. We will definitely be coming back.

Summary: This property is close to a lot of the different parks, trails and beaches. It is very close to stores and restaurants. Property was very clean and beautiful to stay in!

Summary: The property had everything we could have asked for: beautiful location, spacious kitchen with all the equipment and dishes needed, woodstove and wood, garage, and the ability to handle dogs and people of all ages.The only thing we noticed was that the shower in the bathroom with the split sinks doesn't close very well. Otherwise no complaints!

Summary: A great house in a really nice redwood grove. Perfect for larger groups with a wonderful kitchen that accommodates big group meals very well. Plenty of comfortable bedroom space and very nice outdoor spaces for all weather. Close to the beach and hiking trails. Would definitely stay here again!
