Summary: Very pretty lake house. Beautiful view of lake. Nice deck. Comfortable common area with kitchen and fridge. Excellent location. We’re lucky to see northern light from deck.

Summary: The kitchen set up was great. Breakfast is not being offered at this time due to family circumstances but other than that everything was great. We are to be compensated for not having breakfast available.

Summary: The property was clean and comfortable. The breakfast part of the bed and breakfast did not exist, which we found out when we arrived. We were able to use the kitchen once we went to the grocery and bought the staples we needed for breakfast. Despite that flaw, which should have been made clear when we booked it, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Decent place to stay if visiting the Pictured Rocks area. The room was quite comfortable, and view from the living room window was beautiful. You will share the kitchen and living area with another set of guests, so if you are looking for a private stay, this may not be your choice. It is also not a bed and breakfast -- When Wade greeted us and showed us around, he indicated that he'd be giving us $40 to reimburse us for breakfast since they wouldn't be serving breakfast, but he did not have any cash on him at that time. We never did get that money. The place is a bit worn -- many of the windows are broken and won't open. The main issue while we were there was a very big ant problem. Ants where everywhere in our room and throughout the home. I was able to find some vinegar in a cupboard and that seemed to help a bit. They knew there was an issue because there was a little bottle of ant killer on the kitchen counter. The other issue right now - and this is of no fault of the owners - is that there is construction on a local road requiring a detour. If you are looking to stay close to the main area of Munising, getting there quickly right now is not possible.
