Summary: Though only five of us stayed in the Phoenix House, the bride and wedding party used the master suite on the top level to dress and prepare for the ceremony, and the space was perfect! The day following the wedding, family and friends enjoyed brunch with us, the house easily expanding for entertaining with its numerous spaces for relaxing and chatting, all just a stroll from Teton Village with its ample parking.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was mis represented as being updated. It is not. only the kitchen countertop for picture taking. Master shower was filthy, moldy and drain not working correctly. Property has not been maintained. Decks and deck furniture were filthy dirty and that’s where we wanted to relax.

Just a quick 10 minute walk to Teton Village or a 15 minute drive to Jackson. There’s no A/C which is a little unnerving to a Texan but the portable a/c units provided in addition to opening the windows at night kept the house comfortable. It would be nice if the windows in the upstairs bedroom had screens and there needs to be a trash can in the upstairs bathroom. Very minor things, overall a wonderful trip and we would stay at this lovely home again!

Summary: Cabin is great, needs some TLC/updates. Overall my family and I had a wonderful week in Jackson Hole at Phoenix House.. The cabinet self is very spacious. It’s slap six adults without difficulty. My teenagers enjoyed the two different dens/living rooms as well as the hot tub. We saw a moose and her baby not 10 feet from the house on our second day. Although the cabin has been relatively well-maintained, it is starting to show its age. Specific concerns or as follows: Cabin has no air-conditioning, and most of the bedrooms had no screens on the windows so the windows could not be opened to take a vantage of the cool nights. Hot water heater is very small. Six people showering within an hour was just not possible. The coffee maker obviously has a replacement carafe that does not properly fit. It doesn’t activate the opening device therefore my first pot of coffee brewed all over the kitchen countertop. There are only a few chairs on the upper deck to enjoy the outside in. The back deck around the hot tub had no furniture which was disappointing as I would’ve liked to stayed out there while my kids are in the hot tub. I realize most of these things are relatively minor. Given the opportunity, I would rent this cabin again.
