Positive: So beautiful! We loved our stay and cannot wait to return. Petrounis and his wife showed us such warm hospitality. The property is immaculate and beautifully designed with views of the town and the sea. Areopoli is a fantastic base for exploring the Mani and we loved returning at the end of the day to enjoy the charming streets and wonderful restaurants. Petrounis has the most perfect location in town- on the prettiest square next to the famous bakery. We are already planning to return!

Negative: The bed was very uncomfortable. It squeaked when you moved. No boxspring just metal slats under mattress. Breakfast was offered for an extra charge. Other accommodations we stayed at included great breakfasts.

Positive: Petrounis' place is one of the most charming hotels we've ever stayed at. Picture a hotel entirely made of white stone, run by such kind and friendly people (Petrounis and his wife), with a beautiful patio surrounded by orange trees where guests can enjoy a fantastic homemade breakfast before starting the day! Plus, the hotel is located right in the heart of Areopoli, a fascinating village in the Mani region, and it's the perfect base to explore its many wonders (Limeni is just a few kilometers away).

Positive: Petrounis and his wife are exceptional hoteliers. They are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful in any way. We had a wonderful experience. We opted for their breakfast which was exceptional; I loved the yogurt served with honey and fresh fruit. Thank you to our host and hostess!

Negative: I personally like a very dark room so we had to keep the shutters closed thus windows closed.
