Summary: We had a great time at the bunkhouse. Mom and daughter trip, with some wedding dress shopping, and thrift store shopping. We got to see a calf be born at the farm, that was a highlight for my girls who grew up in town.

Summary: This house is just as advertised. A large farm house with plenty of space. We loved the relaxed setting, the quaint farm house and the cows too! The house had everything we needed. It was clean and felt like home. Janis, our host, was helpful and available.

Summary: As the listing said, this was a clean, no frills 2 story old farmhouse. The A/C is provided using 1 window unit on each floor, which along with the ceiling fans kept everyone comfortably cool. The upstairs unit was loud in the bedroom where it was placed, so that room wasn't used for sleeping. The water pressure in the shower was very low but did the trick, just plan on spending a bit more time in there! Hostess Janice was very friendly and responsive, and the notebook that tells the history of the house and the people who lived in and around it was a wonderful read for all you history buffs out there. Overall a good experience!

Summary: What a delight! Janis is a wonderful host, met us at the property and showed us all around. The location is ideal - minutes from the Kickapoo Reserve, and down the road from Viroqua. The house is a lovely old farmhouse with beautiful wood details, comfortable furniture, fully equipped kitchen, and beautiful views.
