Summary: This was a great house but it needs some attention to details. Shower head in snail should be replaced. Towels and toiletries need attention as do kitchen items. Some minor updates would make this a great get away.

Summary: Our stay at this property was an adventure! The home is very unique & has a ton of character. Very quiet and peaceful stay. The yard was fenced in nicely so our dogs could roam and explore & the neighborhood beyond was very open and pleasant with many paths for walking the dogs. Host was super responsive. The only reason not rating at five stars is that the home smelled of urine quite strongly until we aired it out—probably because it’s pet friendly! But, with a good cleaning, I’m sure that can be easily resolved.

Summary: Lovely and comfortable home. Much more spacious than expected. Very clean and lots of interesting corners and decor. Area is very quiet and tranquil. Loved the peaceful patio and being surrounded by pecan trees and horse stables. Overall a great place to relax. Did have some difficulty in communicating with the owner. He did get back to me about a couple matters but I did ask some other some questions that we did not get answers to, such as how to work the dishwasher when we were having difficulties with it and where the WiFi info was (we eventually found it behind a daybed). Also, the pool is not located in the house’s yard, we found it in the building/house next door and it was locked with a key pad. According the listing, the pool seems accessible year round, but we were not told of the location of the pool, not given the code to get in, or if it wasn’t available, we weren’t advised about that (although the pool looked clean and the filter was running. However this really didn’t ruin the overall experience. We enjoyed the property and our time here.
