Positive: - Large, antique-style renovated old house. Interior true to photos. - Well-equipped kitchen. - Nice views outside the window.

Negative: - Too much pre-stay hassle! It was the most work I had to do before a stay: to cut a long story short, I had to download multiple pdfs on a website outside of booking.com, input and text my arrival time to multiple people, and enquire multiple times about how to order bedlinens and towels (seriously, just include this in the rental by default. How many people travel with BEDLINENS???) - Worse of all, the WRONG ADDRESS AND GPS COORDINATES OF THE HOUSE WAS GIVEN by Novasol. We are used to urban driving and wanted to avoid driving long distances on elevated gravel roads with multiple hairpin turns. We booked the house thinking it was close to the main road; instead, it was much higher up the mountain. We also could have experienced much anxiety in trying to contact the host when we couldn't find the house -- if I hadn't stumbled upon reviews of the same house listing on Novasol's website, with ALL reviews stating that the given address was wrong, and 1 of the reviews giving the correct GPS coordinates. I contemplated seeking booking.com's help to cancel this non-refundable booking on the grounds of misrepresentation, but decided against MORE hassle. - Wifi coverage was limited and the living room could not get a wifi signal. - The backyard and surrounding areas had lots of old sheds and equipment that I did not feel safe letting my kids roam around.
