Pet friendly Coconut Cottage is a refurbished bright and breezy 1950s mid-century beachhouse with a large deck in a private fully fenced tropical backyard. Free, fast Wi-Fi & Netflix is included. The main living area of house is air conditioned, as is the master bedroom, there are ceiling fans in all rooms.
Coconut cottage is situated in a quiet street just an easy 2 minute stroll to the sands of Queens Beach. There is a Beach-side walkway leading to many cafes, restaurants, seaside shops, the Redcliffe Jetty, the beautiful Redcliffe Lagoon, in fact you can walk or cycle for kilometres in either direction to explore this gorgeous area (maps, local info, restaurant menus and recommendations provided).
Boats leave from the marina to Moreton Island and for dolphin spotting and whale watching (seasonal).
The Redcliffe Peninsula is well-positioned for easy access onto the motorway north to Sunshine Coast, south to Brisbane city and Gold Coast.
There is a train station (4 kilometres from house) with trains going direct into Brisbane City or for travel to the Domestic and International Airports.
There are buses at either end of the street to the go to the train station and local attractions.
A popular cafe is located just around the corner. There is also a chemist, post office, doctor, vet, convenience store, hairdresser and bakery an easy five min walk from the house.
The Redcliffe hospital is close by, with the house being a very convenient base for hospital visits.
The house is a perfect base for exploring this beautiful area, and is also a relaxed place to unwind.
Open kitchen and living area with air conditioning. The living room has a large corner lounge, with french doors leading onto a leafy front patio with seating. There is complimentary Netflix along with fast wifi, great for working remotely while the family is enjoying the seaside fun.
There are two bedrooms (queen beds) with ceiling fans, master bedroom is also air conditioned, and there is also a large lounge that sleeps two children or one adult if required.
Kitchen is fully equipped with a stainless steel fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Coffee machine (Nespresso pods), kettle, toaster, and an array of cooking utensils, crockery, cups, glasses etc.
The kitchen leads onto a large back deck with relaxed seating and a large wooden table and chairs to enjoy dinner on those lovely tropical evenings.
The Japanese inspired bathroom is new & modern with a shower over the luxurious bathtub- grab rail installed, the toilet is in the bathroom.
The laundry room is downstairs equipped with frontloading washing machine and clothes dryer.
There is a fully fenced private backyard with lush tropical foliage and a hammock for an afternoon snooze.
The backyard is fully fenced and secure for our four-legged friends.
The entire house has a very peaceful and private feel in a quiet street close (easy, flat walk) to the beach and Redcliffe Jetty precinct for shops, award winning restaurants, cafes, Bee Gees Way, Sunday Market and lots more.

Summary: Walked to beach and restaurant each day. We had a cyclone expected to land during our stay and owner took time to ensure we had emergency provisions. A extremely well appointed house and attentive owner which was appreciated in a time of crisis. For those seeking a beach vacation with an occasional beach forays into the hot spots of Brisbane

Summary: The property easily accommodated four adults. It was within a short distance to the beach, food places, swimming, the Sunday Markets, RSL, shopping, parks, fishing, dog parks etc etc.Would recommend to anyone wanting a break for a few days.

Summary: Cannot commend Jenny and Mark highly enough for the presentation, location and outstanding ammenities provided with their gorgeous property. We had a short stay over a long weekend for my husband’s birthday and will definitely be back. Everything was provided including cooking staples ( oil, herbs, spices, pepper, salt etc,) snacks and even a coffee machine.

Summary: As soon as i opened the door i was taken aback with the decor and cleanliness. More than enough goodies to relax after my long trip. The back veranda was a bonus, looking out to the trees and birds that came and went all day long. I would definitely visit again.

Summary: Cottrage presented as advertised. Well appointed. Location made for an easy walk to beach, esplanade and restaurants for dinner. Family meals on back deck, comfortable beds and pet safe yard meant all needs met. Host - excellent communication with clear, friendly and timely instructions. Would stay again with family and pets.
