Positive: Really amazing helpful lovely staff. We actually had to do an emergency stay here as we were stuck in the monsoon unable to get jetty back to our hotel. They were so accommodating and helpful despite it being a last minute booking

Positive: The room was amazing. Around midnight, the air-conditioning stopped working, and when I tried calling the front desk, no one picked up. However, they later apologized and compensated us with a late check-out. Breakfast was on a pre-order basis as the hotel is still new. The Coffee House and front desk staff were super attentive and friendly. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay, it was peaceful, quiet, and pleasantly uncrowded.

Negative: Should provide 24H room service or at least dinner service, since most food places on the island close quite early.

Negative: At the time of our arrival certain facilities incluidng the pool and bar area were not yet available as construction work was under. This should have been highlighted on the booking web site.

Positive: Long beach suite is very comfortable. My family of 7 enjoy the stay very much. We love the long beach; crystal clear water with some fish swimming around. Private boat trip to (1) turtle sanctuary (2) snorkelling/swimming with turtles (3) pulau lima choral and nemo fish were good memories.. The sceneries at Peridot are so beautiful masyaAllah..we love it.

Negative: Just the TV channel are all in mandarin, all toilet in this hotel has NO BIDET. This is Malaysia not Europe, we use water to wash :-) please provide bidet in all toilets while the hotel is still in refurbish period. Just my2cents..all the best Peridot, will come again once renovation done and hope for more bidets in all toilet!

Positive: The Premium Peridot Villa was beautiful. Very spacious, modern, lots of electrical outlets which is a rarity in Malaysia, very comfortable, fabulous view & right on the beach.

Negative: Obviously it is under renovation so it is not fully open but that was expected and price is reduced accordingly.

Summary: Fab location right on a beautiful white sandy beach with clear waters. Will be a beautiful propert when completed

Positive: I had a wonderful stay at Peridot by the sea Redang! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was modern, spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with all the little touches that made it feel extra comfortable. From check-in to check-out, the experience was smooth and enjoyable. Special thanks to Rahim and Anuar for being incredibly attentive and doing their best to accommodate all our requests — their warmth and professionalism really made the trip special. Only after you made the booking, the PIC contact will be shared to you and you can discuss on the boat transfers. The beachfront room is amazing. Just 10 steps from our room to a white sand beach and crystal-clear water, with no boats parked in front — after more than 5 visits to Redang, the beach/sea still amazes me every time. The highlight was the snorkeling trip they arranged — an absolute gem! We had a private boat with a maximum of 10 guests, which made the whole experience peaceful, comfortable, and far more personal compared to the crowded 20–30 people boats offered by other operators. The price was also very reasonable. While the hotel is not yet 100% fully operational and some areas are still under renovation, there’s no noise disturbance at all. Since you’re here for the beach and relaxation, a perfect, comfortable room and the stunning surroundings are more than enough to make your stay memorable. They also offer room service dinner, which is great if you want to stay in after a long day. If you’d rather eat out, there are plenty of restaurants and bars on the island — just remember it’s island pricing, so don’t expect it to be as cheap as on the mainland.

Negative: My only small suggestion for improvement — the toilet has no bidet. It’s something the hotel could consider adding for extra comfort.
